Everything you need to know before booking with Deborah’s Photography.

📅 How do I book a session?

You can book directly through my website under the “Book Now” tab.

Once you select your session type, you’ll pay the retainer to secure your date. After that, you’re officially on my calendar!

💰 Do you require a retainer?

Yes. A non-refundable retainer is required at the time of booking to hold your session date and time. This protects my limited availability and covers pre-session planning. Your remaining balance is due on or before the day of your session.

📍 Where will my session take place?

I photograph in Spokane, Spokane Valley, and surrounding areas.

I have a list of beautiful, low-traffic locations for: Family sessions, Maternity, Seniors, Engagements, Newborn lifestyle sessions (in-home) If you have a location in mind, I’m happy to check it out!

 

👗 Do you provide maternity gowns?

Yes! All maternity and Belly-to-First-Year clients get free access to my curated maternity gown closet. Gowns come in multiple styles, colors, and sizes (S–4X). You’re welcome to try on options before your session.

 

👶 What should I expect for a newborn session?

Newborn sessions are relaxed and baby-led.

I offer: Wrapped Mini (baby only) Full Lifestyle (baby + family) Deluxe (wrapped + lifestyle + siblings) Sessions take place in your home for comfort and convenience. I do not offer elaborate posed/studio newborn setups — my style is natural, cozy, and timeless.

 

⏳ How long will my session last?

Mini sessions: 20–30 minutes Family: 45–60 minutes Seniors: 1–2 hours Maternity: 20–60 minutes Newborn: 45 minutes–2 hours Weddings: based on your package

 

🖼 How many images will I receive?

Each session includes a set number of beautifully edited images. You will also have the option to purchase additional images or upgrade to the full gallery.

 

🕒 What is your gallery turnaround time?

Galleries are delivered within 2–3 weeks. Weddings may take 12 weeks depending on the season.

Rush editing is available for an additional fee.

 

⛈ What happens if the weather is bad?

I keep a close eye on the forecast. If weather is unsafe or poor (heavy rain, extreme wind, freezing temps), I will reschedule at no cost. Cloudy days are beautiful — we do not cancel for clouds.

 

🤒 What if someone is sick?

Please let me know ASAP so we can reschedule. Your retainer transfers one time with advance notice.

⏰ What if we’re running late? Sessions begin at your scheduled time. Late arrivals will result in shortened session time so I can stay on schedule for other clients.

💍 Do you photograph weddings? Yes — I accept a limited number of weddings per year. Wedding packages range from elopements to full-day coverage. You can find full pricing on my “Weddings” page.

📱 How will I receive my photos?

You’ll get a private online gallery where you can view, download, and share your images. You can also purchase prints directly through your gallery for best quality.

👗 What should we wear? After booking, I’ll send you a styling guide with color palettes, tips, and outfit suggestions based on your session type. For maternity clients — gowns are included!

🐶 Can we bring pets?

Absolutely! Dogs are family too. Just let me know ahead of time so I can choose a pet-friendly location.

🛒 Do you offer payment plans?

Yes! I offer simple payment plans for most sessions and weddings. Just ask at booking.
